Ana Marie Rivera Carbonell
Ana Marie Rivera Carbonell is a Puerto Rican artist and designer whose work explores the intersection of art, craftsmanship, and personal expression through jewelry. Born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, in 1971, Ana Marie’s creative journey began early, encompassing painting, photography, and design before finding her distinctive voice in contemporary jewelry.
A graduate in Industrial Design from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, her work reflects a deep sensitivity to form, texture, and the natural world. Each piece of jewelry she creates is conceived as a small sculpture — a wearable artwork that evokes Caribbean color, organic movement, and emotional resonance.
Her collections have been exhibited in Puerto Rico, California, and New York, including exclusive collaborations with Reinhold Jewelers and notable local galleries. From 2013 to 2019, she worked in New York City’s diamond district, where she refined her expertise in fine jewelry production and design direction.
Today, Ana Marie continues to create one-of-a-kind pieces that celebrate individuality, craftsmanship, and the poetic dialogue between nature and design.
